Agriculture has historically been a major economic activity in Sarawak, and with the state's (and the world's) ever-increasing population, meeting growing agricultural demands with current farming techniques is likely to result in more severe competition for natural resources, increased greenhouse gas emissions, and further deforestation and land degradation.
A variety of pressures, including rapid population growth, urbanisation, rising wealth, and resulting changes in consumption patterns, are testing our food systems" ability to provide proper nutrition while also contributing to improved livelihood opportunities in an environmentally sustainable manner.
Feeding this expanded population nutritiously and sustainably will require substantial improvements to food systems so that they can provide decent employment and livelihoods for producers and every actor along the food chain, offer nutritious products for consumers, and do SO sustainably without damaging Sarawak 'S natural resources.

We plan to implement the concept of Metropolitan Food Clusters (MFC), which aims to tackle the issues of food production for urbanising societies through vertical and horizontal value chain integration. These are done via utilising resource-efficient technologies, such as modern quality and efficiency-oriented solutions in food production, processing, and storage while incorporating vertical integration, connecting agricultural production, logistics, processing, and trade to arrive at market-oriented production systems.
Driven by an intuitive industrial ecology design and circular economy principles, we can intensify food production techniques into sustainable practices. To achieve a sustainable food security sector in Sarawak, we plan to commercialise the industry by first designing a Sarawak-Wide food security Masterplan across all relevant touchpoints to aid the government in their Post Covid Development Strategy (PCDS) to be a net food exporter by 2030.
After all we are ‘the farm for you’.
